Shefau Dabre is the founder and owner of Zen Zilla Yoga and Wellness, LLC. Shefau has been an educator since 2000, CT State certified to teach grades Kindergarten-6th, and holds degrees in Education with concentrations in Psychology, Studio Art, and Music. She is also a Registered Living Yoga Teacher (RYT200), certified to teach yoga and meditation across the country. Shefau is registered with the Yoga Alliance. The Living Yoga Teacher path of certification shows yogis how to teach others to incorporate wellness practices in daily living.

Shefau began practicing yoga in 2002. She deliberately brings her yoga to those who have

been underserved and underrepresented in the field of holistic wellness. Through Zen Zilla

Yoga and Wellness, she delivers a unique style of healing that finds harmony between her

training, her experiences (overcoming trauma, anxiety, and depression), and the needs of her

We recognize that some wellness practices can be cost-prohibitive, especially at a time when you may need healing the most. These fees are suggestions. If you truly find yourself in a position where you are unable to afford the suggested fee, please pay what you are able to at the time. For real. Day & Time: Sundays | 12:00-1:00p


This is an offering that is beginner-friendly and child-friendly. You can bring your family, friends, and children to this session for movement and meditation. Each class includes rhythmic yoga and guided meditation to help you connect with your inner self and your community.


Day & Time: Thursdays | 6:00-7:00p

Tuition Free 

In this intentional healing space for Black womxn and girls who want to feel freedom through movement and self-reflection, without judgement. This is a beginner-friendly class where participants experience a unique style of yoga that flows through musical styles that have been misunderstood before being largely accepted by society. The rhythms featured are created by Black artists in the genres of Trap Music (Southern Hip Hop), R&B, Hip Hop, Jazz, Reggae, and AfroBeats.

This offering is for participants who want individualized care through yoga and/or guided meditation. In these sessions, you will work to set and realize personal goals by learning to incorporate concrete, practical strategies in your day-to-day lives. These private sessions are differentiated, based on your goals and needs. 


Private sessions available to individuals, couples, small groups ≥​10 family, friends, and collaborative groups. Email Shefau for a free consultation to see what will be best for you.


Shefau offers rhythmic yoga and guided meditation through the use of Black music from artists around the world. Each session is designed with the student in mind and follows a sequence that eases the participant into flows of movement in a predictable pattern.
